19 of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev claimed his initial trophy for over two years with victory over Corentin Moutet in the tournament championship match.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has had a challenging season, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and undergoing a setback at the US Open.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and issues with his service game in specific - led to him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with former coach Gilles Cervara.
Now working with his coach and his other coach, the tennis star has steadily improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought competitive win over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court from that period of that year.
The win also indicates Medvedev has secured twenty-one victories at twenty-one different competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a competition with my both daughters simultaneously, so to get a title is particularly special," commented tennis professional Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I won when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had failed in his previous six finals, including in the German tournament earlier this year.
His counter-punching strategy and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted some to question if his capacity to compete at the top level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, striving to advance forward and play aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
The champion came back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, winning four of the concluding five points to take the lead.
The competitors traded breaks in the second set before the challenger, striving for his first professional title, gained dominance to push for a final set.
He saved 4 early break points in a close third set before the champion secured a break to 15 to serve for the match.
Suitably, Medvedev secured the title with a point at the front of the court, with the Frenchman unable to handle a volley after over two and a half hours.
